About
Sterling Rettke writes about topics he finds interesting. The pieces you will read here are research and analysis mixed with a dash of opinion; valuations of individual corporations, occasional sector-wide deep dives, and commentary on whatever sits at the intersection of policy, capital, and culture.
Before this, he spent five years in political campaign and policy work at every level of government, followed by strategy consulting across business, campaigns, and nonprofits.
He studied political science at Western Washington University and spent a year at Gonzaga University School of Law before — like one of his many heroes, Teddy Roosevelt — dropping out to pursue other passions. He spent the first thirty years of his life in Washington State before moving to Boston in April 2026.
